Eyebrow Microblading

Eyebrow Microblading is a more advanced brow procedure that uses a tiny row of needles to deposit pigment into the skin, creating thin, hair-like strokes. Microblading is ideal for producing a very full and lifelike appearing brow; it’s becoming increasingly popular as a method of permanent make-up.

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing technique that creates fine, natural-looking strokes. It is similar to traditional hair stroke tattoos done with a machine, but the microbladed strokes are finer and not implanted as deeply into the skin. This means microbladed eyebrows look more realistic but don’t last as long – typically 12 months before a retouch is needed.

The Perfect Look at All Times, Without the Daily Work.

The shape of your brow is outlined in pencil after a brow consultation, the brow region is numbed, and pigment is injected into the epidermis layer using tiny needle strokes. This is accomplished with very delicate needle strokes. These are incorporated into the new form and density is gradually increased with numerous tiny hair strokes, depending on the desired result.

Our clients benefit from the Phibrows approach because they are in the hands of a truly talented artist. This technique is a two-step procedure that includes both an initial and a touch up. The touch up is not included in the starting rate.

Microblading Session

A Microblading procedure is a two-step procedure that takes between four and six weeks to complete. It’s critical to finish both the initial operation and the touch-up.

STEP 1 Microblading Session: The first procedure typically lasts around 2-3 hours. During this time, we’ll talk about your desired brow shape, pick a color, and complete the initial outline of the treatment area for your approval. This process is done manually using a hand instrument rather than by machine.

STEP 2 Perfecting Touch-Up Session: The touchup session is complimentary if you schedule it within 4-6 weeks of the initial session. If not, then you will be required to pay a fee.

Let’s Face it Ladies!

Applying makeup is time-consuming, and we only have so much time in a day. Who wouldn’t want to wake up with one less beauty routine to worry about? Semi-permanent makeup is absolutely life changing! You will never need to buy a brow pencil again.

DAY 1-3:

Wipe the brows with sterile wipes after the procedure and every 15 minutes for one hour thereafter. This is only done on day one.

The aim is to eliminate the extra lymph so that the healing process can be sped up. For three days, keep the brow region dry.

DAY 4-10:

Use a gentle cleanser and warm water on your eyebrows every day, morning and night. Apply a small amount of cream the size of a rice grain.

After getting your eyebrows done, for the next 10 days only use aftercare cream on them and avoid putting any makeup – including lotions – on the brow area.

Enjoy your bath, but do it in moderation. When the scabs fall off, stop applying the lotion.

Healing Tips:

  • Instead of a wash cloth, use something soft.
  • Do not pick or scratch at your tattoo.
  • Hot tubs, steam rooms, pools, lakes, rivers, and hot yoga should be avoided during the healing process.
  • For two weeks, avoid the sun and tanning beds.
  • For the next ten days, steer clear of brown makeup, brow or lash tinting, and any other facial treatments.
  • For one week, avoid any type of exercise that makes you sweat.

Keep Your Brows Looking Their Best:

  • By wearing sunscreen every day, you can help to prevent the sun from causing premature fading of the pigment in your skin.
  • Avoid applying a product on or around your brows if it has lightened, brightened, or tightened.
  • Depending on your desired look, we suggest getting touchups every 6 to 12 months.
  • After you put on your makeup or foundation, use a damp Q-tip to lightly clean your eyebrows too. This way, the pigment will stand out without looking muddled by other cosmetics.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your microbladed brows will last as long as you take care of them. A touch-up is usually required approximately 12-18 months after the procedure.

The process takes around 2 hours, depending on how you want your brows to be done. Allow for a two and a half hour block for your appointment. We probably won’t need that long, but Evelina likes to take all the time a customer needs.

Depending on how quickly your body regenerates cells, you may need a touch-up every 4-6 weeks to keep the color sharp and distinct. Some people can wait longer between appointments, so it all varies from person to person.
Some individuals claim that they feel nothing at all, while others state that the treatment is painful. A topical anesthetic is utilized first to numb the region, and it is reapplied as needed.
Take note of the aftercare instructions given to you by our staff. Additionally, you will be given an aftercare kit post-treatment.
  • Pregnant or nursing
  • Diabetic
  • Undergoing Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
  • Viral infection and/ or diseases
  • Epilepsy
  • A Pacemaker or major heart problems
  • Had an Organ transplant
  • Skin irritations or Psoriasis near treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc…)
  • Sick (cold, flue, etc…)
  • Had Botox in the past 2 weeks
  • Used Accutane in the past year

Don’t you worry, the treatment won’t take long and you’ll be able to go about your daily routine afterwards without any problems. Initial redness and swelling will go down within an hour or so, although your brows may appear darker at first but not too dark.

The healing period varies from person to person. The epithelial crust generally takes about a week to ten days to form and slough off (much like a tattoo). After that, your skin will be deemed healed. The pigment then takes some time to sink into the skin. We should allow at least a month for the procedure to finish.
Microblading is a two-step procedure that involves an initial treatment and then a touch-up four to six weeks later. After we take your before photo, we’ll shape your brows and pick the color. A topical anesthetic will be given shortly after so you can relax. The process begins once you’re numb, at which point Evelina will insert the pigment into your epidermis. It’s common to experience some pigment loss while healing; this is why the touch-up comes in handy. The procedure is considered finished four weeks after your initial touch up.
Please follow your aftercare instructions carefully! Evelina cannot stress this enough. To avoid undesired results, it is best not to touch your brows as they heal. Instead, keep the area around them clean and dry. This means no swimming, sweating, or any other activity that could get the tattoo wet; no tanning or prolonged sun exposure; and no picking or peeling of the tattoo. You can still wash your face and hair as usual once the tattoos have healed.
All of the colors available are FDA approved and NONE of them contain iron-oxide based pigment. Evelina has a wide variety to choose from that will complement both your hair and skin color.
There are a variety of methods we might take, please don’t forget that this is a two-step procedure. Touchups, known in our studio as “perfection sessions,” are the most essential step in obtaining the appearance you want. Evelina and her team of artists will work with you to ensure that our work meets your high standards, but if you’d want to repeat the process, we’re particularly well regarded for our corrective work services. There will be no reimbursements for services already performed since materials were used and time set aside for our technicians; however there will be no fines or penalties charged.

If you have any questions or concerns that are not listed above, please do not hesitate to reach out to your technician. These are the most commonly addressed topics but by no means an exhaustive list. Thank you for your understanding.

I was so insecure about my eyebrows where I wouldn’t leave my house or even my room until I had my makeup on them. I was very anxious going into this especially with someone seeing me without any makeup up. Evelina made me feel so safe and so comfortable with her when I went for my microblading appointment. She was so sweet and she knows how to make people comfortable when working with her. After my appointment I was so amazed with my eyebrows and finally happy with myself. Her work is so amazing and beautiful they look so natural!

She takes all aspects into consideration, she even pays attention to your brow/facial expressions when you’re talking… her technique is immaculate. Going from using a gel every day to not needing any brow makeup changed my life.
