The Institute is a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to the advancement of the modern watch industry, with members throughout the world. The AWCI strives to grow the industry through numerous avenues that include technical and business services, communications, education and certification. The Institute also serves its members by providing\u00a0and outreach and advocacy for the timekeeping (or <em>horology<\/em>) profession.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Highest Standards and Quality Service<\/h4>\n<p>The Institute\u2019s vision is to have an educated and passionate horological community practicing the highest standards and with the resources to provide quality goods and services. The AWCI cites as core values: honesty and integrity; passion; quality workmanship; education; certification; communication and collaboration; rewarding work; and fair compensation.<\/p>\n<p>AWCI has worked with horology schools, individual watchmakers and clockmakers, manufacturers and retailers to advance the art, science and business of horology.
